Week in Review (Week 22)

Monday May 30, 2016 - Sunday June 5, 2016
According to ISO-8601 standard, weeks start on Monday. The first week of each year is the week which contains that year's first Thursday. This oddly gives the capability for the year to have 53 weeks instead of the school taught 52.

Here I am going to try to document all "projects" that I have started, continued, or ended in the previous week.

1. Aliexpress: There have been a number of orders arrived  this week. Now I find myself having a completely unexpected problem. Enough Orders are coming in now, that I am slightly lagging behind in testing the products.

2. Julian Ilett: A couple of items this week, but most interestingly this is the week Jullian Ilett proves we all can make mistakes. Too Mr. Ilett's credit he did this with far more grace and diginity then I ever could. Another quick thought: Mr. Ilett edits his videos before uploading them to YouTube, so it would have been no problem for him to have simply not shown this at all.

3. Quick Questions - Linux Edition: Using the Linux shell, or command line, can some times be daunting. I will be highlighting a hopefully helpful command in each of these upcoming posts.

4. YouTube: I now have twenty two videos on YouTube. Eighteen of those videos are showing the opening of orders received from AliExpress.

5. There are many places online where you can test your HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Today I have setup an account with I have also created my first "pen."

6. Project HB: Create a simple "Happy Birthday" video using a video I made myself of a humorous card. Now this would be a simple feat with any video editing software available locally, or online. The additional things we will be doing with this video, separates the simple video software from the complex. I will be using the
freeware software FFmpeg.
